Chanel Cruise Collection 2018

It was an honor to attend the Chanel Fashion Show presenting the Cruise Collection for 2018. We were invited by the fashion head of Chanel Singapore. The theme was inspired by Greek history. There was some great footfall at the event and we got the opportunity to meet the industry leaders in Singapore. Selected students and lecturers from all fashion colleges attended the show such as NAFA, Lasalle College of Arts and Raffles Design Institute.

It was really as dream come true for me to attend such an auspicious event and to think about the fact that fashion influencers like Anna Wintour and Olivia Palermo saw the same collection as us in its original form. The entire aura and presence of Chanel was felt in that room. The design head was present at the entrance to welcome us all and his humble nature was a different sight to see. Since the time I know the word ‘fashion’, I know ‘Chanel’. I have been greatly inspired by Coco Chanel and she is a great role model in my life. Till date, I do not own a product from Chanel and I have made a promise to myself that the day i can own anything from the brand on my money is the day I will declare myself as a successful lady and this is one of the major driving forces for my career.
