The Cinnamon Room

The Cinnamon Room is a contemporary Home Decor and gift items brand which includes customized cowhide rugs and unique in-house designed accent home accessories.

I had the pleasure to meet with the Founder of the brand, Visha Nelson at her office where we sat down to discuss the marketing of the brand and how it can be improved.

Visha discussed with me a few ideas on how she usually handles her social media and shared a few name of charitable organizations she works with.

I was curious to know the story behind the name of the brand, upon which she mentioned her ancestors being from Sri Lanka where cinnamon is a core ingredient in all items and how she wants to create enough designs for the room to eventually change into a house. Therefore, she names the brand The Cinnamon Room.

Regarding the marketing, she taught me how Facebook boosts work in reality and I shared quite a few ideas with her, such as:

1. Instagram Grid Posting

2. Social Media Calendar

3. E- Gift Guide

4. E- Vouchers

She was highly keen on doing a Facebook giveaway post which I happen to design:
