Volunteering at the launch of the 'BeeWow Collection' with House of Sheens in collaboration with Wear Oh Where, was a great learning experience. I was in charge of the other 8 volunteers and took care of the sales at the event.

The collection gave out the message of women empowerment and for women to be(e) comfortable in their ow skin. Each of the bags were hand painted by artisans in Bali, Indonesia, therefore each piece had a sense of individualism attached to it. Feminism, hard work and power of being together were projected out by the bee motif.

The Bags were available in three sizes and priced between $400 - $600. The event was graced by four fashion influencers. Each of them shared about their journeys in their respective careers. My participation was a success, this was my first time attending a private sales event and was surprised by some interactions during the course of the event. Met some really successful people and heard inspiring stories.
