By the end of the first semester we had to create a Pecha Kucha to summaries our blog and portfolio. Pecha Kucha is a style of presentation, which comes from Japan and it consists only of 20 slides and only 1 second to be spent on each slide. The slides only consist of one image and no words.
I created a presentation keeping the above pointers in mind and spoke about me, my blog and my portfolio respectively. This was not my first time working on a Pecha Kucha. A few weeks before the final day, my lecturer prepped us on how this style of presentation works. We had to create a Pecha Kucha on fashion events, which took place around the world in the past or present. We were a team of five members and decided to present the different themes of the Chanel Fashion Show over the years. Chanel has shown some ravishing displays and concepts for their fashion shows, which have left the audiences rather captivated.
This new method of presentation had some great impacts on my work. I was more clear and precise with my deliveries and my visuals were more clear.
